Twas The Bite Before Christmas in Port Credit - National Anthem Singer: Patti Jannetta Baker

Scotia Entertainment Services was proud to be the Audio-Visual and DJ Sponsor for this years ‘Twas The Bite Before Christmas‘ Gala Dinner that was held at the Oasis Convention Centre in Mississauga on Tuesday December 14, 2010. This turkey dinner was just one event of several in the Port Credit champaign to raise money, food and turkeys for the Mississauga Food Bank and the Compass Food Bank.

The ‘Twas The Bite Before Christmas‘ Campaign has raise $57,500 in money, food and turkeys so far and this weekend will be the Wrap Party and additional donations collected throughout Port Credit which should bring this number up to or over $60,000!

As always, Mayor Hazel McCallion had a very entertaining speech. My favorite line was about her mentioning that Mike Bullard didn’t put himself up for auction and that she would have liked to bid on that! Mike did an excellent job with the live auction and raised some money for a great cause.
