Patti Jannetta has worked her way up through the music industry into a position which has garnered her respect as a singer, entertainer, songwriter, and humanitarian. She has recorded 3 albums during her career - all of which have fared well domestically, with her last two albums earning her acceptance on an international level. Patti has also done various work as a Commentator, Event Host and Spokesperson.

Patti was discovered while attending school in Toronto, becoming a teen actress in the Canadian production of Jesus Christ Superstar which opened in Los Vegas, then moved to the famous Aquarius Theatre in Los Angeles.Back at home, she concentrated on her first love, singing, and signed a record deal.

Toured throughout Canada, the Caribbean Islands, the United States, Europe and Asia promoting her first album.

Patti also represented Canada at the International Sopot Music Festival in Poland, performing for 50,000 people and winning the prestigious "Musician's Favorite" Award.

While filming the documentary Patti opened for Manee throughout Europe and Thailand.

In Monaco, she appeared at the elite Jimmy Z Nightclub and then at the world renowned MIDEM Music Festival in Cannes, France. In Thailand, she appeared in concert in Chaing Mai and Bangkok's famous Thai Cultural Centre.

Patti's 2nd album, Breathless, acquired her a smash hit single and high rotation video on Much Music for the song "Party Girl", an original composition which also earned Patti a Juno Award nomination for "Most Promising Female Artist".
- Her next album, Mark On My Heart, had three successful singles: "I Know You'll Wait", "Even Though You,re Gone", and "Mark On My Heart" (a top 20 dance hit in 1993/4). The single "Even Though You're Gone" was supported by a cross Canada tour and a hauntingly beautiful video. The results being the very successful dance track "Tell Me You Love Me". Which she sang Backup Vocals and co-wrote and sang with James Collins and vocalist Carol Medina. Patti was presented with a Diamond Record for over one million units sold.
- Performance in Ottawa as part of the 76th Grey Cup festivities.
- Patti's song "Even Though You're Gone", a tribute to a friend who had died of AIDS. Her tour to support the album was one of the first concert tours ever to be officially sponsored by a condom company, she included a safer sex education component in her live show, and a portion of the album's sales were donated to various AIDS charities.
- Performed at benefit concerts in Toronto and Mississauga, including the 1999 Sick Kids Hospital Mistletoe Ball.
- Performed at Mississauga Mayor Hazel McCallion's 90th birthday party in 2011.
- She has also performed and toured as a backing vocalist for Ronnie Hawkins.

Patti is a Past-Director and now a Consultant with Canadian Music Week. She is the 2004 President of The Canadian Association for the Advancement of Music and the Arts (C.A.A.M.A,), a national, non-profit organization dedicated to the commercial development of Canadian sound recording business domestically and internationally. It works to provide its members with free educational programming and non-commercial showcase opportunities.

Patti Jannetta is a Canadian pop and rock singer, who was most prominent in the 1980s and early 1990s.
The daughter of Louis Jannetta, the longtime maitre d' of Toronto's Imperial Room, she landed a role in a production of Jesus Christ Superstar as a teenager, and was later active with the band Mixed Reaction.
She released her first album, Patti Jannetta, in 1981. The album's first single "You've Got No One" charted on the Adult Contemporary charts in RPM, peaking at #7 in the week of April 9, 1983,[4] the second single "I'm Ready for Your Love" peaked at #15 in the week of August 6, and "Don't Change" peaked at #13 in the week of April 7, 1984.
She represented Canada at the Festival Sopot in Poland in 1984, and was presented the "Musician's Favorite" award.[2] In 1986, she hosted her own Christmas special on CFTO-TV.
Her second album, Breathless, was released in 1988, and garnered radio airplay for the singles "Party Girl" and "Name of the Game". She promoted the album with a cross-Canada concert tour, including a performance in Ottawa as part of the 76th Grey Cup festivities. She was a Juno Award nominee for Most Promising Female Vocalist at the Juno Awards of 1989.[8]
She followed up in 1991 with her third and final album, Mark on My Heart.[9] The album's main singles were "I Know You'll Wait" and the title track; "I Know You'll Wait" reached #28 on RPM's adult contemporary charts the week of July 6, 1991,[10] while "Mark on My Heart" reached #14 on the adult contemporary charts the week of August 29, 1992, and #64 on the general contemporary hit radio chart in the week of July 25. The album also included the song "Even Though You're Gone", a tribute to a friend who had died of AIDS.[13] Her tour to support the album was one of the first concert tours ever to be officially sponsored by a condom company,[13] she included a safer sex education component in her live show, and a portion of the album's sales were donated to AIDS charities.

She has also performed and toured as a backing vocalist for Ronnie Hawkins.

They co-wrote "Make Up YourMind" wihich was released internationally, and feature in the movie soundtrack of "Meatballs III'.
Later she released two pop albums under the name Jannetta entitled "Breathless" in 1988 and 'Mark On My Heart in 1991.
Later she co-wrote the song "Tell Me You Love Me" with James Collins and sang backup vocals with on lead vocals by Carol Medina which Carol released the song on Quality Records. This single sold over one million unts.
Recently the song "I want Your Everlasting Love" which was included ont he self titled albtumin 1981 was included in the film "Headcase".
